TextOre,
Inc. was founded in March, 2000 by Litton/TASC and Rapid Access International, Inc. (RAI). We provide business-to-business (B2B) analytical software and services to accurately examine and extract information from large volumes of unstructured text. Our proprietary technology was developed over seven years within the laboratories of Litton/TASC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Litton Industries, Inc. Litton/TASC, a recognized world leader in text mining research and processing, developed the technology to accurately search and mine large quantities of digital data confronting government analysts. RAI, Virginia-based research and consulting company, is responsible for bringing this unique technology to a world market with a strong focus on Japan and Europe.
The Company offers a sophisticated proprietary software that is unlike other technologies
currently available. TextOre has the ability to perform searches that are highly detailed, using multiple queries and in multiple languages, while providing easily understood results. The results are provided through an advanced visualization profile tool that identifies and visually depicts the intensity of relationships in unstructured data sources (letters, documents, e-mail and web pages), including real-time news and information feeds. Our technology not only identifies anomalies missed by competitive technologies, but also identifies specific sentences, paragraphs and relationships, taking into account the precise terms applied by a user.
Unstructured information comprises an estimated 80% of corporate data,
and the rapid emergence of e-mail, intranets, extranets, and commerce sites are causing the amount of information to double every six months. Researchers, analysts and information users continue to demand systems that can locate and manipulate information with ease, efficiency and accuracy. This increasingly sophisticated group of information end users needs to find the right information quickly, analyze it, combine it into reports, or use it to make decisions. TextOre intends to become the tool of choice in the emerging era of the “knowledge worker,” a population of researchers who must have immediate access to relevant information at all times.
