This year, TextOre achieved 3 notable firsts! On Wednesday, December 16th, the extended TextOre family met for their first virtual Holiday Party. The event was an overwhelming success due to the fact that it was also a cooking class hosted by our resident Italian gourmet chef, Adolfo Gatti. Everyone enjoyed the socializing, camaraderie, and some amazing Carbonara and Vegetarian Egg Sauce!
Finally, and most importantly, we also launched what will be a tradition of giving in the spirit of the holidays. This year we invited Everyone Home DC, a local nonprofit organization serving the needs of the homeless, to be part of the TextOre family. Everyone Home DC’s Executive Director, Karen Cunningham, even made a cameo appearance to kick off the celebration. We were all touched by helping a very worthy cause, and hope you too will consider making a charitable donation.
