TextOre MENA and Military Affairs Analyst Jordan Lorenzen has published new analysis on the rising influence of Imam Sadiq University (ISU) alumni within Iran’s governing elite. As Iran faces the prospect of leadership changes, a network of ISU-educated technocrats—often called the “Imam Sadiqis” – is steadily expanding its presence across key state institutions. While frequently labeled technocrats, their expertise is deeply aligned with preserving the ideological foundations of the Islamic Republic.
