Our History
In 2012, TextOre won its first federal contract to provide OSINT services to the U.S. Government’s intelligence community (IC). From that point forward, TextOre “pivoted” from being a software vendor to a provider of OSINT services leveraging foreign media. Our focus also shifted to building in-house expertise with a wide range of languages including Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish, as well as various regional languages (Afrikaans, Bahasa Indonesia, Swahili, Tagalog, Tok Pisin, Ukrainian, and more).
TextOre has significantly expanded its customer footprint beyond the IC to now include law enforcement, defense, policy institutes, and the private sector. Today, TextOre’s language-enabled analysts and subject-matter experts leverage state-of-the-art technologies, social and edited media, and data analytics to synthesize relevant information on foreign militaries, political entities, government leadership, research institutes, university programs, commercial organizations, and criminal enterprises.
Engagements within TextOre’s National Security Intelligence and Geopolitical Intelligence practices include foreign influence operations, leadership and organization tracking, and geospatial analysis and mapping (among others). Typical engagements within our Data & Risk Intelligence practice include social media monitoring and analysis, brand and campaign monitoring, country risk analysis, and threat detection.
