TextOre attends the US-Taiwan Defense Industry Conference 2023

TextOre’s CEO, Dr. Robert Stewart, attended the US-Taiwan Defense Industry Conference 2023 with Michael Niggel, Chief Executive Officer of ACT1 Federal, and Kenneth Allen of the Jamestown Foundation, on October 1-3 in Williamsburg, Virginia. Topics discussed include U.S. defense cooperation with Taiwan, defense procurement, and Taiwan’s defense and national security. Senior representatives from the Taiwan and U.S. governments were among the speakers and there was time for valuable questions and answer sessions throughout the conference. Detailed discussions included emerging threats Taiwan faces and supply chain challenges that could negatively affect the ability of the US and Taiwan to meet those threats. There were deep dives in to the changing views of the U.S. on Taiwanese defense policy and the impact of next year’s elections in the U.S. and Taiwan.
